2024 Badminton Information

This Sport is offered at Tauranga Girls’ College for competitive and social players. Social badminton is offered throughout Terms 2 and 3. 

The Junior and Senior competitive season starts in Week 4, Term 2 wraps up at the end of week 5, Term 3.

Junior Competitive Badminton Information

Tournament 1: Junior Western Bay of Plenty (WBOP)

Tournament Date: Friday 24th May, Term 2
Time: 9am-3pm

Teams that qualify from the WBOP to the BOPSS Junior Badminton Finals will continue weekly training until the finals

Tournament 2: BOPSS Junior Badminton Finals
Tournament Date: Wednesday 7th August, Term 3

Senior Competitive Badminton Information

Students aiming to be selected into a team to represent the school should look to attend sessions that are on offer.
